Tour bus guide informed us that 50% of all small planes in US is registered in Anchorage. I think he meant maybe Alaska?
Our breakfast attendant at hotel informed us she spent one year in jail. Apparently had 3 dui’s in one day. She has been riding a bicycle ever since🥴But…. sober for 2 years👍
Picked up “Betsy” yesterday, stocked up on necessities at Walmart(beer & wine), and drove north to Palmer where we attended Alaska state fair. Huge! Biiiggg pumpkins, etc. Very nice. Wasilla is next town over, but no Sarah.
Doing the RV thing, I’m beginning to associate with the life of a tortoise. Having your house on your back all the time.
Booked 3 days in Denali starting tomorrow.
