Made it to Skagway! Again the most awesome glaciers on the way in.
Obviously, a tourist town. Small planes, choppers, buses and trains. Not complaining, just informing. We took the 4 hour train excursion, and will highly recommend. I have read Micheners book, “Alaska”, and was somewhat familiar with the Klondike goldrush. To actually see what these poor fortune seekers went through, was eye opening. Not to mention the poor horses. If the guide is correct, of the 3800 horses used, only 35 survived. Many were left along the trail to starve to death.
All in all a good day.
Tomorrow, Glacier Bay.
The Husky IPA is not bad🥴. H
